Jason Quick began his singer songwriter musical exploration in the downtown Toledo music scene of the early Oughts. Such places as the Bronze Boar, the former Pub St. George, as well as on the front porch and at Easy Street and Manhattan’s. Playing and hanging out with people, musicians, bartenders, bar owners, Quick soaked up the culture and turned it into songs which is what he often performed during gigs. As the songs started to accumulate, He began to make recordings. The debut CD, Get Used first came out in 2006. Followed by releases under the moniker, Quickness’, The Avocado in 2010 and Amateur Mind Control in 2015.

Additionally, Jason Quick performs as Solo Acoustic and in the Jason Quick Experience, which combines the electric and acoustic in a power-trio format. Setlists consist of blues, country folk, americana with a set of cover tunes from the past 30 years of rock from artists such as Wilco, White Stripes/Jack White, John Prine, St. Vincent, Black Keys and much more.
